You're not Alone: The Narrow Road is Not an Empty Road

Narrow is the road that leads to life...

Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. " Matthew 7:13 &14

BRAVE family, the road you travel when you follow Jesus is a narrow one, but it is not an empty one.  Those who have made a decision to follow Jesus and surrender to Him almost always feel lonely.  It's a hard thing and it's a worthy thing, but you must not give up.

Just when you feel lonely enough to quit you will walk around the bend in the road and look up to see some other travelers with you.  It will not be a crowded road, because following Jesus means walking away from what the world has to offer.  You are walking along with other warriors who are not easily enticed and will settle for nothing less then what Jesus has for them.

This road is for the warriors.  The road is for those who are weary, but know they must not quit.  This road is for those who cry out against sin and weep for those who travel a wide road filled with instant gratification but eternity in darkness.

Look up weary traveler, because more are looking at these two roads and deciding if it's narrow and hard, then there must be a really good reason.   Look up warrior, you are not alone.  You  are not on the crowded street of acceptance, you are the road to eternal hope.   This road is filled with beautiful moments and heartbreak, but the purpose of this road will lead you where there is no pain, no suffering and no more tears.

You are not alone. Look up, because just around the bend, there are more travelers then you realized.

Thursday Thoughts: The fight is on Does anyone read blogs anymore? I am not sure. However, this my little corner of the world that should you come across it, say hi! I founded BRAVE in my head two years ago, but it took a year to gather up the courage to talking about it and creating a format to share my rambling thoughts. I ramble. You will see.
